Michael Bernhardt, MD
Dr. Michael Bernhardt is a board-certified dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology since 1984. He has a passion for all things dermatological, especially tumor discovery and removal and advanced therapies for immunologic based conditions. He is a Botox injector and has been since Botox’s inception. He also enjoys laser resurfacing and filler injections.
Dr. Bernhardt received his BA in History from the University of Miami and won the Mayflower Award for the outstanding graduate. He went on to attend Emory University School of Medicine, completing his MD in 1980 at the age of 24. He was the second youngest member of the class. After completing a flexible internship at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, he went on to complete his residency in dermatology at the University of Alabama Birmingham and was Chief Resident. Dr. Bernhardt practiced 25 years in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the first dermatologist to be president of the 2000 member Duval County Medical Society. He was the editor of the award-winning journal, “North Florida Medicine” for 3 years.
Since the early 2000’s, he was an annual “Top Doc” in Jacksonville. He is also heavily involved in clinical research and is an internal speaker at medical meetings and an industry consultant. Dr. Bernhardt has been actively involved in medical education, teaching multidisciplinary fields including medical, physician assistant, and nurse practitioner students, as well as other medical residents in various fields. He has been a part of the clinical faculty to several family medicine training programs and on occasion, he has won teacher of the year.
When Dr. Bernhardt is not seeing patients, he is playing guitar, especially rock and jazz, as well as working out. He had been a lifelong student of various martial arts, until a severe knee injury sidelined that activity. His true avocational passion is underwater photography, especially of large marine animals.
Juliette Pistorino, PA-C
Juliette received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Barry University, her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Florida, and her Bachelor of Nursing degree at the University of South Florida.
She is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Juliette is originally from Miami and enjoys spending time in the Keys. She spends most of her free time on the water!

Jamia Austin was born and raised in Mingo County, WV, in the city of Williamson. She has a daughter and 4 grandchildren, 2 of which are in the military. She also is a newly great grandmother to a beautiful baby girl!
Jamia values her relationships with family and friends because she knows that you just can’t do life alone! She lives by two things in life, other than her faith: the mentality of the body will be as the mentality of the head, and every day is a new day and we decide how it works out!
